Birth and Growth

Serviam Catholic Charismatic Community was established on March 12, 2003 by well-known church lay leader, Antonio “Sonny” B. De Los Reyes, with the blessing and guidance of His Eminence, Jaime Cardinal Sin, then Archbishop of Manila. His Eminence also appointed Rev. Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual as the Community’s spiritual director. Shortly after the formation of the Community, however, Jaime Cardinal Sin passed away on June 21, 2005; Sonny De Los Reyes, who was then Community Head Servant Leader, soon followed no more than a year after the Cardinal’s death. His death on May 25, 2006 greatly grieved the fledgling community.
