Signs of the end times are the unusual things that are happening all over the world today.  Among them are the devastating storms, earthquakes of powerful magnitude, forest fires of great proportion, violence through terrorist & racist attacks, and most of all the entire Covid 19 pandemic that has claimed a lot of lives. People have taken disaster preparedness quite seriously as a defensive remedy against the loss of lives & property.

In like manner, God warns us that the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ draws near when these signs appear. Since Jesus died on the cross to save us all from our sins, He intends to bring all of us to the very end. But how many of us taken these warnings seriously? Yes, many have closed their hearts to the love of God for obvious reasons that they do not know Him well enough and that they are more concerned with the things of this world.

As we answer God’s call, we should be watchful and stay awake. Let us do our best to convince others that no one lives forever; death can overtake us when we are least prepared. Let us walk with the Lord by standing guard against evil, negligence, sloth and false prophets. Care for one another by being a light to everyone in darkness. Let God’s warning ever be sounding in our ears and running in our minds for as long as we live. At the end of our earthly journey, the greatest reward awaits us when we experience God’s presence – the fullness of joy!
