Conference Description
Serviam Catholic Charismatic Community Foundation, Inc. celebrated its tenth (10th) year anniversary. In thanksgiving for God’s many blessings upon our community, we held a conference, entitled “Servant Leadership in the Year of Faith,” at the SMX Convention Centre, on the 14th and 15th of June 2015, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
The conference aims to equip and empower parish leaders, community lay leaders, and Filipino Catholics to better fulfill their priestly, prophetic, and kingly roles at home, at work, and in society at large. It hopes to achieve this goal by defining and elaborating on the concept of servant leadership, with Jesus Christ as its role model, and its role in the Filipino Catholic’s spiritual journey and growth. Specifically, it will examine and propose the application of Servant Leadership principles and practices through Divine Scripture and the Traditions of the Catholic Church.
The conference committee has invited a panel of noted leaders to share their knowledge, experiences of, and thoughts on servant leadership. Counted among our esteemed speakers are: Bishop Pablo Virgilio David, Bishop Broderick Pabillo, Msgr. Gerry Santos, former Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban, Mr. Francisco “Frank” Padilla, and His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal “Chito” Tagle, Serviam Foundation’s own Chairman of the Board, will keynote the conference.
